Sierra Kuru

For this terrain, I took inspiration and ideas from a few places.
Firstly, I wanted to sort of make a semi-dried up ocean, but with a more smooth and desert-like seabed instead of a more realistic one. I additionally wanted to add a mountain chain into the terrain but give it a more desert palate while still having it seem mediterranean.
Inspiration was taken from:
Mediterranean Sea (the fact that it has come close to drying up several times throughout history)
Sahara Desert (The desert as well as the peaks that dot through the desert)
Indonesia
Midwest US

I would say of all my terrains so far this would identify the closest to a fantasy landscape (in concept, not execution)
