the awesome thing about it it there are no zombies so nothing would attack the villagers except for the magma cubes whitch might accidentally hit one but probably won't kill a villager, so the nether is safer for villagers then the overworld.

Hm.. Interesting idea. It would be pretty cool if they added naturally generating nether villages with "undead villagers" in it or something.
