How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

This is the first house or anything that I've posted. I'd really like some honest and descriptive feedback if at all possible. I want to improve my building so any help would be great, thanks.
I'm using the VoxelBox: Palceon Pack so if you want it to look the same as it does in the picture you'll need it, I doubt it looks very good without.
