Skycube is a survival oriented technical map.
You start with a tree, a small island, a bucket of water and one of lava, the goal? Make prety anyfarm possible !
How? If you have several things to help you on the map :
- Trading villager with special trade that will offer you way to buy rare things that you wouldn't be able to have
- A set of all the villager to make farm and trading possible
- The emplacement for a nether forteress ( in the nether ) to be able to make a wither or blaze farm
In adition to that which spawn naturaly which provide you with redstone and glowtone.
To be able to fully enjoye the experience we recommend you to play in the snapshot 14w06 wich made possible sand duplicator, it's not necessary, at least play with a 1.8 snapshot or the trading won't work
Now it's up to you to make everything possible in normal survival minecraft in this empty world !

Sometimes something well designed and simple can be better, as for the popularity, with 140k youtube subs and a string demand for the maps it's not surprising.
Oh and don't worry I'm also kindy sad to see this map more popular than others maps I posted that took much longer to made
