SkyDex is a team-based PvP/PvE map for Minecraft in a futuristic style, offering a variety of game modes, that allow players to explore different strategies and teamwork tactics, unique classes with different abilities, and a wide range of firearms, creating a dynamic combat environment for players to experience.
BETA Release
Please note that this is not the final release of the map. Currently, it is in its beta phase, which means there are known bugs and imperfections. We are aware of these issues and are actively working to resolve them over time. Alvium is the last bastion of mankind, a powerful megacorporation that united all uninfected areas of the planet under its steel dome. Their arsenal consists of an armada of high-tech drones, warrior exoskeletons, and devastating weapons. For Alvium, every crystal is a threat to the existence of humanity.
Classes
- Vipex - The most common standard suit, used in simple operations. It has no unique abilities.
- Mobilare - Ultra-mobile suit, ideal for reconnaissance and rear entry. It has a built-in jetpack and homing missiles.
- Mayter - Super armored assault suit. Features enhanced armor and a built-in energy shield that can cover allies.
- Firelock - A fire suit that is particularly dangerous in tight spaces and has medium armor and attack power.
- Antiterror - The Antiterror has an active laser defense system and radar that detects enemies behind obstacles and then burns them with a powerful laser.
- Polliant - Mankind's best invention, the most powerful suit with the highest attack and defense ratings, used in the most important missions against the Spectr.
Arsenal
The arsenal of the Alvium faction is designed for keeping the enemy at a distance and detecting them. The equipment of the surveillance system allows for the detection of the enemy at significant distances. The faction's weaponry is capable of striking from afar, which ensures superiority in defensive operations and allows for control over large territories, preventing the enemy from getting close.

Spectr is a group of rebels whose bodies and minds have become one with the sentient crystals, granting them psi powers. Through fusion with the crystal matrix, they have developed technologies beyond even the Alvium's comprehension and are now ready to fight them on equal footing for their future
Classes
- Zavorix - Standard costume, used by ordinary operatives in simple operations. It has no unique abilities.
- Sabotag - A suit for those with powerful psionic potential. It can form a cloak around itself and control the mind of enemies.
- Impulse - A suit that focuses psionic abilities and blends them with crystal energy to form powerful energy attacks.
- Darkter - A suit capable of manipulating its own time and space, able to go back in time and anticipate and avoid death.
- Berserk - The wearer of this suit has undergone severe mutations that allow them to use their flesh to increase mobility and shorten their distance from enemies.
- Techpriest - An incredibly strong energy signature with the highest combat performance. A single Techpriest is worth several squads of Alvium's best fighters.
Arsenal
The arsenal of the Spectr faction represents a set of high-tech weaponry, optimized primarily for close-range combat. Based on the use of innovative energy crystals, these weapon systems possess increased power and efficiency.
The AI developed for Skydex operates without any modifications. Our bots possess almost limitless capabilities and can successfully compete even with experienced players:
- Capable of placing and destroying blocks to achieve their goals.
- Possess various subclasses: from assaulting a base with an automatic weapon to taking a sniper position for precise shooting.
- Capture strategic points, if any are present.
- Use grenades and other additional weaponry available for in-game currency.
Currently, the bots are incapable of selecting advanced classes.
The number of players on the map is not limited, play together against bots or against each other. Multiplayer is limited only by the performance of your PC and your internet.
The map functions without mods. We still recommend installing our optimization mods because the map uses a lot of shaders and effects that may cause uncomfortable FPS drops in the most heated moments.
While the map is fully functional without mods, vanilla Minecraft on recent versions can struggle with performance issues. Thus, it's advisable to have a high-performance computer, equivalent to one capable of running Cyberpunk 2077 smoothly. We also advise against using programs like Radmin VPN or Hamachi due to their limited bandwidth capacity. Instead, consider opening ports on your router or opting for a reliable hosting service to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
In the creation of the SkyDex map, a tremendously ambitious and talented team came together to bring this vision to life. Each member brought unique skills and a touch of humor to the project, making it not just a map, but a memorable experience. Here's a shout-out to these creative minds:
- ZeroCaty - Idea Maestro, whose brainchild started it all, sprinkling a bit of visionary magic onto the map.
- DrowsyFirefox (twitter) - Chief Designer, who dreamt up designs even in their sleep, making the map a visual feast.
- DartCat25 - VFX Wizard, creating stunning visual effects that make you say "Wow!" every time.
- W3EHunter - Coding Ninja, who typed cryptic codes faster than their shadow, bringing the map to digital life.
- CaptainSqrBeard - Master Architect, who laid down the bricks and beams of the map with a pirate's precision.
- BananVovan - Testing Guru, who tried every possible way to break the map, but only broke a sweat.
- Xnobiss - Voiceover Commentator, whose voice brought the map's story to life, one epic narration at a time.
- max100500pro - Aesthetic Designer, who made sure every pixel on the map was in its perfect place.
- BlackAngelsDeath - Structure Architect, crafting the bones of the map that stand firm against virtual storms.
- JustSh1sh_ - Construction Architect, who turned blueprints into virtual reality, one block at a time.
- AnolXD - Creative Designer, whose designs are so unique, they might just start a new trend in map design.
