It has been a while since the original map skywars by Forseth11 was posted. After Forseth's server went down, both myself and others have been itching for a updated version for vanilla minecraft to play with friends. With some redstone magic and alot of luck, I was able to re-create the skywars we know and love.

For those new to skywars, it is a rapid paced PVP game on specialized maps which allow for a mixture between bow combat, sword combat, parkour, strategy, speed, and stealth. One thing that sets this map apart from others is that the combat is team based.

Sky Wars Template World Download
All the redstone with no map; you can build your own map! Please note that everything built must fit into the gold block frame, and that the bedrock blocks represent the spawn points.

Too lazy to build you own maps? I have some old ones I've updated to this format, and have started making new ones. Ask in comments and ill upload/make one for you.


Map: Jungle
This is a jungle themed map with two main paths: the treetops, a longer harder path with more loot, and the roots, a quick and easy path with little loot. Be careful of forest fires!


Map: Mine
This map is one of the few good server maps I still have access to. It was the first map I updated and thus the redstone might look different/older. It is mineshaft themed.
Sidenote: see how all the chests are minecarts, why did i do that? The /summon commands for those things were miles long.
