Description:
Slavutych is a city in northern Ukraine, built in 1986–1988 to house workers evacuated from Pripyat after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster. Located about 50 kilometers east of Chernobyl, it was uniquely designed with the help of architects from eight Soviet republics, giving its districts distinct architectural styles. Today, Slavutych is known as Ukraine’s youngest city, a symbol of resilience, and a hub for former Chernobyl plant workers and their families. It was the last city of the Soviet Union
