After about a week of on and off work both in Minecraft and MCEdit, I present my next project, a full-sized small Roman city.
Based on the traditional layout of a Roman Castra turned town, the settlement is eight city blocks by ten city blocks (with each city block being 33x33 Minecraft blocks) seperated by three-minecraft block-wide streets, and surrounded by a stone wall.
Among the buildings, there are:
1 Forum (based off of the Forum of Pompeii, includes shops, a Temple, and the Basilica/Municiple Offices)
2 Thermae/Bath Houses (upper and lower class)
4 Upscale Villae (either taking up a block, same floor plan)
14 Midscale Villae (based off those in Pompeii, same floor plan)
4 Tenamenti (Same floor plan)
And a number of other buildings. Most of the lower-class shops and houses are copy-pasted.
None of the buildings are furnished, but many of them have their interior geomatries constructed.
Total size of the schematic is 359x431x36 blocks (including the ditch and rampart), covering 621 chunks.
