in some redstone builds is a t flip flop better than a leaver. for example if you open a door from one side with a t flip flop, it stays open. now you can place a button on the other side and connect it with the t flip flop. and now you can open and close the door from both sides :)

What about if you put the button on the dispenser instead of having redstone in-between?

because that makes it easier to see where the redstone has to go, not that it is placed at the wrong place.
