This is a project I worked on for a long time and finished a long time ago as well. One side is completely made of sand and sandstone, while the other is completely made of dirt/mud (I just call it grass). And so we have team grass, versus team sand.

The reason I made this was just to play around with my friends. Since snowballs are easy to get, and do no damage, it becomes a game like paintball.

The project could possibly be later developed for a paintball mod competition. An additional idea is that the players may buy shovels, which can break the snow sheets on the blocks for more snow.

This could also be adapted into a capture the flag mod where two teams need to try get a flag from the other side. And a snowball would reset a person to one of the top pillars in the arena.

Overall it was a lot of fun to make and use ^^.
