I finished this recently as a school art project. Only had 40 minutes to complete it, hence the low quality. We had to carve a single bar of soap into something had a story behind it that related to us. So I made this as it symbolizes one of me and my close friend's miss-adventures. I might tell it sometime.
Anyways, to make it I cut the block in two, scored both sides of the cut soap and then fused them together with water. After letting it dry, carved it to what you see in the picture. Following that, I attempted to color it by multiple means. Didn't go so well. The best method of coloring it involved chopping up oil pastels and then smearing them on the surface. I couldn't color the entire thing as it has many crevices and I had limited time, but I finished it nonetheless.
