Sua construção foi grandiosa, feita com materiais preciosos como ouro, cedro e pedra lavrada. O templo permaneceu como o centro religioso e espiritual do povo hebreu até ser destruído pelos babilônios em 586a.C. , durante o reinado de Nabucodonosor II.

Solomon's Temple, also known as the First Temple, was built by King Solomon in Jerusalem. It was erected to house the Ark of the Covenant and serve as the main place of worship to the God of Israel. Its construction was grand, made with precious materials such as gold, cedar, and hewn stone. The temple remained the religious and spiritual center of the Hebrew people until it was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC, during the reign of Nebuchadnezzar II.
