The hull of the spaceship is long and the fuel tank goes on deep into the maitenence bay. Below the fuel tank is the main thruster. the main thruster and the fuel tank detach from the ship once the fuel tank is empty, which is usually shortly after exitting the ozone layer. The the booster thrusters on the wings kick in and they are permanent parts on the ship. The crew area has room for two and the ship is remotely controlled.
