During the events of Marvel MC's Fatal Web event.. There was still a lot of maintenance to be taken care of after the Ultrex Bomb did it's bidding. From innocent Civilians being converted into Drones, to Red Goblin, to Dust, and all while the Avengers take care of it all, the Green Goblin had made a return in a more Ultimate form. No one other than the Amazing Spider-Man took him on hopes that it'd be just like the other encounters. Even The Avengers believed it would be no the same ol' easy ride. We were wrong. We were all wrong. Spider-Man was killed, drastically.
