Sporecraft

This Minecraft world started out as just another fun project, but I wanted to share it. It's meant to be a recreation of the game "spore" in Minecraft. I did a good job of meeting my own expectations by creating a build that was based on a planetary system from the classic game. Although not as good as the real thing, I think this map does a great job of capturing the progress of life in the cosmos, as well as human imagination and artistic expression. But don't take my word for it, download the map and see for yourself the interesting concepts laid out in the map. You will spawn on a spaceship suspended above the void away from the main body of the build, a planet. In creative mode you should then fly to the planet and "orbit" around the map. The map was and is a flat world that was cleared with mods after building all the main components. I hope you enjoy this idea as much as I did!
