This is a little thing I made that you can use in parkour. (If I spelled that wrong sorry, I am 12.) You can sprint up these stairs, even with Potion of Swiftness II! I just thought this would be a neat thing for parkour maps. No geeky redstone required.

All you need for 1 step is:

1 stone/wood pressure plate
1 piston
1 block under the pressureplate

Hope you find this useful for your parkour maps! It is so easy no download is required!

Additional Notes

As of a recent update the Sprint Stairs no longer work :(

Hmm..did you remember to run in the middle? Plus, Piston goes facing up right next to the other block, no redstone dust needed, pressureplate on the block, and no block should be added on top of the piston. Did that help?

nope when u run there is a delay to the piston making you knock into the block in front

I forgot to mention, study shows that this does not work in multiplayer.
