NOTICE: Sorry guys, but after I converted the world to 1.2 it fucked up. Progress has been slow lately and this means I'll have to put the project on hold indefinitely. Again, sorry.

Hello there, peoples of the internet!

A few months ago, I began a STALKER themed adventure map. I only got a little bit into it before the files corrupted and I had a mental rage over it. Now, I'm planning to try it again, but with more ideas and missions to keep people playing for longer.

Set in 2007, the story will follow a Stalker, who enters the zone in search of the Wish Granter, a mysterious artifact which is believed to make dreams come true. The area is mostly small towns and villages on the outskirts of Chernobyl. The land is populated with Stalkers seeking loot, bandits and creatures that are prepared to kill at first glance. The player will be able to choose for him/herself and create their own custom story in the zone. This will include a story line with different paths to follow along the way (which will alter the ending), side quests which will reward the player with equipment to help them master the zone and plenty of obstacles and puzzles to keep you thinking on your way.

I'm sorry I can't give more information right now, but I have a lot of exams coming up, but I'm doing my best when the weekends come by.

Additional Notes

I love maple syrup, STALKER and Minecraft. you should too.

4 Update Logs

I love potatoes, and making updates. : by Harreh 01/31/2012 3:33:35 pmJanuary 31, 2012 @ 8:33 pm UTC

It's been a week since the previous update. Things have been going sluggishly since School has been a major priority, but I pack all my effort into the weekends. <3 you guys for being a nice boost of support through this.

As for the actual update, W0LFHER0 deserves a big hug and a coffee for volunteering to do mob AND armour textures! I've made a couple of Half Life easter eggs, alongside nearly finishing the second town, where the next few major quests will take place. Enjoy the picture of the first area. I plan to possibly add a little more when I'm polishing the finished project, but only for decoration and not actual jobs.

Last Days is an unfinished texture pack, Doku himself said so. It's also too dark and apocalyptic for STALKER, which makes use of a more colourful terrain and hilly landscape rather than the browny grey flat lands.

So try Overgrown Texture pack then...it's good. If you don't like it, just say :D or try Sphax PureBDCraft

I don't really want to use a texture pack someone already made. If you check my update blog you'll see that I've decided to try and make my own for the map, which is coming along really well.
