This is a my first attempet at a supergate with working shevrons. will work but flipping 7 different levers. and a 8th switch that will drop water to mimik the event horizen.

This is awesome. Looks way better than my attempt :/ you've done a good job with the way you've hidden the circuitry. diamond for you my friend!

I thought of trying to use moving chevrons but dont think i can be bothered with figuring out where all the wires would go and how to hide them.

This is a functioning gate you hit the levers and the Chevrons light up and then the eighth lights them all up and woosh well more splash cos the water drops and mimics the the gate open it freaking kool and one hell of a piece of red wire work.

If it's a Super Gate then it doesn't need Shevrons. It only goes to one place. Just fly in with your ship, hit whatever button opens the gate, and go through.
