Steve State University

The State University, originally established as a technical and scientific institution, also plays a key administrative role in managing and preserving state archives. Additionally, it contributes to industrial applications—particularly through its chemistry laboratories, whose applied research enhances industrial techniques and productivity.

Founded in the 19th century as a technical school, the university initially supported medium-scale industries such as brick manufacturing and quartz processing. Its early facilities included an eight-story high-rise tower equipped with masonry stations for stonework and on-site student accommodations.

With the turn of the century, the institution evolved into a leading educational center, shifting its focus toward scholarly and scientific pursuits. In response to growing industrial demands, it expanded into metallurgy and engineering, providing expertise for factories and industrial works. Facilities grew to include classrooms, an auditorium, and a state-of-the-art laboratory housed within the main tower.

Over time, the university's physical profile changed dramatically. Capacity expanded with the addition of two five-story accommodation blocks offering 95 rooms, while the campus skyline was redefined by two striking, prismarine-adorned spires.
