My First terraform. a small amount of help from world painter, a brilliant program which i highly reccomend,some more help from voxelsniper,and all the rest by me.
it has:
a plains area with a winding river
a mountainous area with caverns and stuff
a rocky hill area
a massive stone pyramid
a beach with a reef just off the coast
and a frozen south-easternly area.

Really nice map, could be better with some more transformation on the stone land as that is a bit plain :)

Well, for a starter, you could make the terrain a bit more rough and maybe add more varieties of ores and rocks there :)

ok.

i am at school now,so i won't be able to do any thing yet, but soon i will be home and then i will start work.

when you say 'varieties of rocks you mean things like cobblestone and gravel,rather than just the normal stone that is already there,right?

also, there are ores under the surface.

as for terrain roughening:

are you saying 'the hills are to rolling and flat, make it rougher'. because if so i will.

When i mean Varieties of rocks, yes, include cobblestone, gravel and even ores on the surface! :D
Yea, make the hills out of stone a bit rougher.

you should make a giant island in the middle of the ocean with a little island about 100 blocks out and a long story to it
