Use this redstone device to stop time, you just select the clock and time freezes, mobs stop moving, fire stops spreading, the day-night stops cycling. it fits in a 3x3x3 area.

to install just place "☻ Stop Time! - PLACE ME IN SAVES FOLDER ☻" in saves folder... duh

I have /gamerule doDaylightCycle set in one of the command blocks, i just had it set the time set to 18000 so the mobs dont die in the light
