The StratoTerra Courier Frigate epitomizes the statement 'Run and Gun'. A stock C.F. can usually outrun anything it can't outgun. They come equipped with high torque coal furnace engines that require a full time stoking crew, but are low maintenance. This allows them to accelerate and turn very quickly for the size, and can easily get by without an engineer on board. Minimum crew is two stokers, a pilot, and the gun team.
They are very customizable and therefor popular with couriers, travelers, and privateers. The C.F. is not built for the line of fire and doesn't handle armor well. Not suited for military or police work.
