Description:
This is an infection style game based on a custom game mode from Halo:Reach. The point of it is for the one slider (infected) to slide down the ramp and infect the evaders (humans) in the kill box. The box isn't very big so good luck! If a slider fails to hit anyone in the box they are returned back to the top and will be put on a random slide track.
You can play it as Last Man Standing wins, Longest Time survived wins, etc.... (Make your own win condition!)
The game ends automatically when there are no evaders left in the box.
So plop this on a server and grab a bunch of friends to play!
Evader Perks:
Evaders will spawn in the kill box with several abilities to help them dodge the incoming slider(s). If the slider fails to kill anyone in the box for a while, evader abilities will begin to deteriorate in order to help the slider.
Slider Perks:
Sliders are given the ability to switch track once, about half way down the ramp, in order to target evaders. This is accomplished by holding either of the "Switch Track" items in your main hand before passing under the track switcher.
If the sliders appear to be struggling for some time (5 mins after last evader death) the wave spawner box will open. The button in the box will recruit a wave of infected on a random set of tracks to try and confirm another kill. (Note: Waves do not teleport back to the top, however will unlock more frequently over more time)
What you need:
1. The Map (Download and Extract)
2. A Server (if you have a server you probably know where the map file goes)
3. Friends (the ones who hopefully own Minecraft already)
Other Notes:
Players may need to be given OP permissions: /op <playername> (but, I'm not entirely sure)
This should also work if you have a Realm. Just upload the map to your realm and enjoy!
