Syros is an island I had made for a small survival server.
Total land area: 1,369,065 square blocks
The island is completely honeycombed with tunnels and small caverns. None of these tunnels break the surface and the reason for this is two-fold; first, the server didn't want the tunnels open to the surface and secondly, I feel that it kind of ruins the look of the terrain at times. Personally, I'd rather play on a map that looks nice and is harder to do things then a map that looks bad and is easier to do things. Your house, while it may look fantastic, won't look very good with a poor landscape around it.
When you get low enough in the tunnels you'll break into active lava tubes and, obviously, this is where most of the important ores are.
All the trees have decaying leaves so you shouldn't have floating leaves everywhere.
There is, currently, no End portal in this map, but I was planning on adding a custom reimagined Stronghold at some point.
I'd also like this to be a sort of work in progress adding things that players ask for in the map; be it old structures or natural formations. Just give me an idea you think would be cool on this map and I'll see about adding it.

Looks best in Conquest since it uses the extra stone, soul-sand, and clay meta-values, but it can be used in any pack and still look good.

Those are added naturally by the Better Leaves and Grass mod; no meta-data or anything to do with the Conquest resource pack apart from the textures.
