7k x 7k Custom Terrain "Elements of Trial" (Download) [Survival-Compatible]

This is a 7.4k by 7.4k custom terrain world. The world is completely survival compatible: it has ores, caves, trees, and other buildings materials necessary for survival. It has multiple biomes, and was initially intended to be converted to an adventure map. Because of that, each cardinal direction is a different set of biome themes that dungeons and quests could be placed in.

As with all of my non-commissioned builds, feel free to download and use the world for your own purposes. You may use it on a server, or by yourself, or incorporated into a different project. If you use this world - Be certain to credit "Utogi" as the creator of it.



History: After making the floating islands, dungeon, and being inspired by Vechs, I decided I wanted to make my own custom maps. I found a tool called world painter and started working on a project that at the time was too vast for my level of skill. Many of the areas turned out pretty cool, but of course now (4 years or so later) there are many things I would have done much differently. The world is based on a set of lore that I have personally written, but that lore will remain unreleased. In any case, the project turned out really well considering the limited knowledge and experience I had.
