Deep underground there lays a forgotten temple, said to hold the most expansive treasure. Many have tried to ferret out the wealth of the temple and steal it for themselves, but none have succeeded. You and your companion aim to infiltrate the temple itself and overcome the mysterious fortress.

But the journey will not be easy. The treasure is sealed off by an ancient lock, that can only be unlocked with 4 items. Each item itself is hidden away in one of 4 elemental shrines:

The shrine of Dirt and Clay:
- The item is rumored to be a vessel of unconquerable strength
The shrine of Moss and Mist:
- The item is said to be a weapon of unmatched parallel
The shrine of Stone and Air:
- The item is rumored to be a device of mysterious power
The shrine of Smoke and Ash:
- The item is said to be a tool which will unlock the most glorious riches

In each shrine it is said that there are 4 pieces hidden, that when brought together, form a key of light that can unlock the shrine and unleash the item it holds inside of it. Join all 4 items together and you will unlock the sacred vault, and the treasure within.

Can you solve the secrets of the temple? Or will you and your companion be doomed to wander the corridors forever...

Additional Notes

This map is made for 2 players, no more and no less. No mods that alter gameplay are allowed. You may play with them if you feel it will make it more fun, but I hold no responsibility for the puzzles to function or be challenging once you install mods.

There are 4 shrines, each with 4 chests that you must locate. Each chest holds a piece of glowstone dust. Once you find all 4 pieces of glowstone dust (solving puzzles along the way) craft them into a piece of glowstone; your Key of Light. Insert the key into the shrine entrance to unlock the item it protects. That Item will grant you new abilities which will allow you to enter the next part of the temple.

There is also a side quest, that is completely optional, but allows for an optional alternate ending. In each shrine area, there are an *additional* 2 chests hidden very well, and each chest contains a diamond. Collecting all 8 diamonds from all of the shrines will unlock the alternate ending.
