A temple from the world of "Harmony", my upcoming world for candlevera's "Worldbuilding" Writing Contest. A little something I wrote is available to you if you want to read it.
The main render was made by Destiny Gene, I assumed that it's alright considering many of the entries from previous solo contests have renders by other people. If not, I'd like a judge to inform me so I can remove it.


“Tell me a bedtime story, mommy!”

“One little story, and then you’re going to bed. We have to get up early tomorrow, so no staying up late, promise?”

“I promise.”

“Alright. There is a legend that speaks of a great temple hidden by our lady Serene at the very dawn of time. According to the legend, this temple has the sacred power to show anyone who enters a window to another world, a world much darker and more frightening than ours.”

“But what’s in that world that is so terrible?”

“Well...according to the legend, the people of that world are not like us. They are greedy and they destroy all their wildlife so they can build enormous buildings and factories, polluting their planet and angering our lady Serene.”

“That world sounds very bad.”

“It is. But that’s not all. According to legend, if the inhabitants of that world continue to carelessly destroy it, one day they will be left with nothing but dry, lifeless land.”

“I don’t want that to happen to us, mommy!”

“It won’t, sweetie. We trust and love our lady Serene, we will never let her down. Now, go to bed, we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.”

“I love you mommy.”
“I love you too sweetie.”
