Hello, Minecraft players. We've all heard of spleef, and some of you have heard of blockey (inthelittlewood ftw)! Today, I am declaring a new fun game for the community of Minecraft to play: Basspex.
Players needed: Referee, Teams of 2 or 1
The arena is 75x100 blocks, and it has a 75x10 end zone on the end of it, as well as a dispenser with arrows on the other side, which is pointing towards the arena, is 1 block off of the arena, is centered, and is 10 blocks up. Also centered (I know this is confusing), there is a goal. Basically, its a caved hole with a painting. When an arrow hits the painting, it will fall down and land on a pressure plate. If you can, connect that pressure plate to some sort of redstone torch. Too confusing? I'll give the mcedit-schematics.
Each player will have a bow (no arrows) and a diamond sword. When the game starts, they will all go on the field, near the dispenser. The referee will trigger the dispenser to shoot once, and then all of the players will try to get the arrow. When a player gets the arrow, it turns into a game of pvp capture-the-flag. Basically, the carrier has to run with the arrow in his hand, and people on the other team have to try and kill him with their diamond swords, and run to the end zone, hoping to get a point. The carrier can pass the arrow to a teammate, but he can't shoot it (IMPORTANT).
When someone makes it to the end zone, they get 1 point. Then, they shoot free throws into the goal. They have 2 options; 3 shots from the close free throw line (each for 3 points), or 1 shot from the far free throw line (10 points). When the shooting is done, it is tallied in some way; a score board is recommended. Then, the team that just won that round gets to set up 4 lava pits. The lava pits must be no larger than 4x4, and cannot be within 20 blocks of either the end zone and the dispenser.
Sounds like fun?
