The other random things (like the ship, buildings, mine, nether area with trees, and all the other random things) are awesome. But why are they in the map?

I just didn't feel like making a new world just for this, I would rather download 10 awesome things in one map then have to deal with 10 different worlds. Also the trees in the nether was because i read on the minecraft wiki that trees grow distorted in the nether, so i was just testing it and it was wrong
