The Black Downpour

Hello!


After a few weeks away from building, I decided to start over with something completely original instead of recreating an existing ship.


The Black Downpour is a fictional 42-gun pirate warship feared for appearing wherever storms gather. Legends claim she commands the rain itself, but experienced sailors know a different truth—her captain simply reads the wind, the clouds, and the sea better than anyone else. By the time the black sails emerge through the rain, it is already too late.


Among sailors, one old saying still survives:


"If you can see the black sails, you're already too late."


Unfortunately, I recently lost the world where I had been building many of my previous ships, so this project also marks a fresh start for me. Rather than focusing on recreating historical or movie ships, I'd like to spend some time creating more original designs and concepts like this one.
