The City of Dustworks
A Minecraft Realism Project

Note: All information below is supplied in the PDF that comes with the download.

Overview

Dustworks began in 2014 as a private project in the sandbox game Minecraft. Later, this project spanned to the public, where players all over the world contributed to building a virtual city. Over the years, members have built suburbs, parks, subways, and many other things in a typical urban environment. Although the Dustworks project is incomplete, it has officially ended.

The downloaded files contain a version of the server files that have been stripped and optimized so that anyone may host a copy of the server for their own viewing or usage. Additionally, a texture pack is provided for the intended experience. No hosted server may assume the role of an official Dustworks build server. These files are provided as-is, and the Dustworks Build Team does not take any responsibility and is not liable for any damage that occurs as a result of these files.

Note the location of the extracted files.
WindowsWindows can natively open and extract zip files in Explorer. Double-click the zip file, then click Extract all or Extract all files. Designate the location for the files.

macOSWith a text editor such as TextEdit, open startserver.sh. Be sure not to execute it.
ALL
Here, you may edit the file to your likings. For example, specify the Java arguments that define the minimum and maximum amount of memory allocated to the server.
-Xms // minimum heap
-Xmx // maximum heap
Don’t forget to save your changes.

4 – Accept the EULA
LinuxMost Linux distributions include a text editor such as gedit. Use it to open and edit eula.txt.
WindowsWith a text editor such as Notepad, open eula.txt.

Thank you. We worked hard to maintain it, and turn it into a unique city, until the time, and resources to do so were no longer there.
