This is a survival version of my cliffs map, i added in some stuff so you have a chanse to survive. and a little side challange to make it more fun. and a bit creepy.

Just as a request from me to anyone who plays the map. i would like to see screen shots of any builds you do on the map. wether you build a hovel on the side of a cliff or a whole city scaling the walls i would love to take a look.

This is VERY good work and amazing detail, but i must ask... How are you supposed to mine all the ores if there's no stone for tools? you can't mine iron with wood...

Retinking this map... gonna remove all the cobble and put a block of lava higher up so the player can make a generator with lava flows to get thier first stone.

If anyone requests it i will make a version with no stone. some ideas i had included placing lava on the top of one of the formations or placing a block of lava near a water source. or just removing the stone and making it mandatroy to find the pick. i just don't want to do that because it is supposed to be a survival map first and the story is second. i would not want to force people to follow the story if they did not want to.

I never said anything about cobble. there is some cobble in small pockets i place. they are guarded. they won't last you too long. but if you can get some iron and make yourself a bucket with the amount i provided you can use wooden tools to get to lava and make your self a cobblestone generator. that is the way you are supposed to progress.

just to be nice i made 2 cobble stone pockets. the first is enough for like 5 stone picks. the other is enough for between 12 and 15.  im planning on going back in and reducing the amount of stone to only 3 or 4 picks in each. so enjoy the deposties. there is also a specail iron pick somewhere on the map if you want to do the challenges. it is one of the rewards for finding a skull.
