Currently in production, The Darkmold Horror is a terrifying tekkit custom adventure designed only for those with a strong stomach. Drawing influence from many classic horror stories, the map pays homage to the great horror writers of the past half-century. There are many secrets to be found - so many that it is unlikely you will find them all, and a handful of completely optional areas where the narrative goes into slightly more detail. The map is suitable for either one or two players.
The rules I am willing to release at the moment are as follows:
1 - Try to play at night and during a rainstorm as much as possible (Tekkit allows you to easily toggle these options).
2 - Set render distance to short or tiny.
3 - As usual, you can only break clay; and if they become bothersome, vines aswell.
4 - Set brightness to 'moody'.
"The secretive Dr. Mikhail Grimm has not left his laboratories under the town of Darkmold for many years. Now, after the locals began to notice strange lights and even stranger sounds coming from the mansion, the town has been plunged into an eternal night. Rumors have circulated that something has gone terribly awry... Can you keep your sanity, and solve the mysteries of Darkmold?"
If you like the look of this adventure, and would like to see it finished sooner, please leave a comment or a diamond. I am currently working on several new projects - and the more people who want to see this finished, the harder I will work to get it out faster.
