As Steve peers into the darkness he spots the warm light of glow stone and torches. As he makes his way down the rocky wall he lets out a big smile thinking "maybe some of this coal can get me something useful". as he reaches the bottom he notices there are no villagers walking the gravel paths as he searches house by house he realizes this town was abandoned or rather everyone vanished with out a trace. as he searches the towns warehouse he finds a few bowls of mushroom soup and a book the soup is still warm... Steve sits down on the floor to read the book and quickly learns of a curse but before he learns what the curse is the book burns to ash instantly. the sound of zombies and skeletons can be herd just out side the door startled Stebe eaches for his sword and prepares for battle. he opens the door and rushes out to find nothing. "just what is going on here" Steve said, he shakes off the shiver creeping up his spine and starts looking for ores so he can get out of here as fast as possible unaware of the danger that lurks in the shadows

This is my first ever contest entry i dont expect to win.
the Important thing is i had fun making this little village
it took me around 4 hours of non-stop work
the village may look betetr with moody setting rather then the bright setting you see in the pics
