MY PROJECT GOT CUT LIKE THE REAL LINE:
This project is on indefinite hiatus due to complications in how I approached this.
The real Line is under construction, aiming to be a sustainable city for 9M people.
WHAT IS BUILT:
- Accurate 10x10K terrain from heightmap
- Accurate walls/metro (8500 blocks long)
- First section of the city on the coastal tip
- Full interior (basic furniture, shops, lobby)
- Marinas, gardens, rooftops, decorations
- The underground city spine/service layer
TRANSPORT:
- Rows of stairs/elevators in the city walls
- Underground metro with minecart tracks
- Exit doors to the outside in the city walls
NERDY TECHNICAL INFO:
Copy-pasting the walls/metro the whole 8.5K blocks took forever and parts are outdated:
- 8500 blocks = length of base wall/metro
- 2000 blocks = estimated length of updated city wall design
- 0500 blocks = estimated length of minecart tracks in metro
Terrain is 1:10 scale, not 1:2 scale like the city. Otherwise the terrain would be 85K blocks!
City sections: 250 tall x 100 wide x 400 long. Spawn point in city: /teleport -3756 28 -210
