The Netherflame Blade is a singleplayer adventure/puzzle/PVE map for version 1.21.10 EXACTLY that was made by me, PsyKat777, the creator of the Enhanced map series. It has been tested by me and 2 beta testers, guigui0246 and soph1703. Based on what I hear from the testers, the map’s puzzles are normal difficulty, and the combat entirely depends on your in-game difficulty. This map should take about 2-3 hours to beat, an estimate that I actually got from the testers and has been back up by subsequent playthroughs by ordinary players and didn't just come up with myself. While development was a bit rocky for various reasons, I finished the map over a year after I started developing it!
In it, you are a teenage boy in rural South Carolina, USA, and the day is March 19th, 2017. Due to your poor performance in school as of late, your parents have decided that you will be spending the day outdoors like they did when they were your age. After wandering around for a few hours, you encounter a mysterious man and quickly find yourself deep underground in a ruined laboratory.
In this laboratory, more formally Facility 33 of the Arctangent Laboratories, you will uncover all sorts of secrets, from information regarding a legendary sword called the “Netherflame Blade” to the true nature of the mysterious evil that has destroyed the facility. If you want to leave this place, you’ll have to forge the Netherflame Blade and defeat this evil.
This map tries its best to keep and accentuate what was good about the Enhanced maps (interesting story and lore, charm, etc.) while taking away the bad parts (annoyingly difficult puzzles, excessive dialogue, lack of direction, etc.). New aspects are also added, like voice acting. You do NOT need to have played the Enhanced maps beforehand; they take place in entirely different universes.
The map is inspired by quite a few different things, most notably The Legend of Zelda, The Kitatcho Laboratories, and the SCP Foundation. However, it also has some smaller inspirations, like those old NicoThePro tool maps, Undertale/Deltarune, and Don’t Turn It On Origins: Realms.
So, yeah, hope you enjoy!

Have something to say?
P.S. - dr harold was my favorite character
2 hours is definitely on the shorter side, so definitely don't feel bad about that.
P.S. - Dr Harold is maybe my favorite character too (Though the villain is a close contender)
What are you even talking about? Did I break something, or did you just not like the segment?
The rules and recommendations section lasts for 520 ticks, or 26 seconds.
The general tips section lasts for 200 ticks, or 10 seconds.
Those two add together to 36 seconds.
However, in the actual map, there would be delays from pressing buttons and moving the books around, so I decided to play through the section with my phone's stopwatch.
It took me just under 43 seconds.
I understand that you're exaggerating, but even knowing that, I'm not sure where you got "4 hours" from. The entire section lasts for under one minute.
I will definitely NOT be removing this.
