I wanted to make it quartz to give more of a finishing touch, I didn't like the look of the sandstone ones everyone was so crazy about.

I agree, Quartz is a much better material. First, the pillars were originally just widing out in the middle, no base for the pillars. Second, I thought the Parthenon was meant to worship Athena? Third, yeah, the Parthenon was for Athena, there was a statue of her in it in all the recreations I've seen. There's nothing wrong with 1-2 meter scalings but they throw me off. That's really what I have to say about it, pretty decent job!
