Torre Polar I is an office building located in Plaza Venezuela, Caracas Venezuela, on the east side of its sister tower, Torre Polar 2. The building is 86 meters high and has 17 floors. Its construction began in 1951 and was completed in 1954. At the time of its construction, the tower had a greenish glass façade. Due to the company's progress, in 1981 it was remodeled with a blackish blue glass façade, contrasting with the design of the Polar Tower 2. It is currently the headquarters of Empresas Polar. The Polar Tower I is considered the first skyscraper built in Caracas, thus being one of the historic buildings of the capital city.
