Humanity has long been landing probes on the Martian surface looking for signs of life. So far the inhabitants have done a good job of keeping hidden with one little slip up on September 18th, 2015. Now in the year of 2036 humans try to colonize the red planet but are met with severe hostility as the inhabitants are reluctant to share it. Maybe the War of the Worlds wasn't fiction after all...
