I'm back with a much improved ship design, thanks to various tutorials- Gazamo helped a lot!
Please, give me your feedback on my ship-- I realize that it still needs more improvement on interior design and stuff like that.

Additional Notes

Also, if you plan on downloading it, then just know that you start out underwater, and if you look directly up, the ship is at the surface.

Don't make the bottom of the ship shaped like a V, instead try to use an "U" design as it looks more like it could float. Also give it a bit more roundness to the ship. looks too square-ish. Avoid straight lines in the boat, and as you get near the stern, decrease the width of the ship. I like to think of the hull as an american football with a captain's cabin on the back. As for the sails, bigger ships usually had a driver or spanker sail on the mizzen mast. You could incorporate that as it helps stabilize and steer the ship. Another thing you could try, is rigging. Rigging in my opinion, makes it look more realistic and seaworthy. Also more dynamic and solid looking. Keep it up, it's a good start and hope you keep doing more ships.
