It's at least 500 years into the future. The once roaming planet, Earth, has been run over by destructive robot-like beings that seem to only run on steam. After decades of fighting the war of tyranny and suffering a fateful loss, they were in eager search of a new home, fighting like as if it was their last in the battle against the humans. Judging by their size and techniques, this war was quickly won by the machines a year into the fight, and ceased to commence after most humans were presumed dead. Their gears clank and their metal roars, protesting with rusty groans. They knew that it would take more than an excessive amount of work to shape this planet into their image. Though they fought and conquered the lands of this planet, and shall not give up so easily. Miners pump to life as they kick the stone and dirt out of their pathway, climbing up the steep mountains and hills that as if they were flat ground. Robotic flying machines search for any resources that may be used. Air balloon-like objects take to the skies to scout for any land worth settling. Land patrols matting down crops scan the surface and roam the grass with pride. It would be a hard task to control this planet, but they shall make it work.
I was inspired to make this project through the style of Steampunk, for I have loved this type of art for many years. To make it a reality, is all I wanted to accomplish. Also, many thanks to Gabersid for helping me with this project! He was very considerate when giving tips with the machinery! This is my first project posted on this account, and I hope you all like it!
