A thick fog of mosquitoes buzzes through the fetid air of the swamp as the little robot and its crew walk silently through the murky waters. Night has fallen and all is quiet, but for the croaking of the frogs, the gentle swaying of the reeds in the slight breeze and the creak of the robot's joints.

In the stuffy control room, the captain sits, waiting, watching his crew in the soft glow of the red lantern. he gently plucks at the fishing lines. The fish haven't been biting lately, and the crew is restless, no fish means no fuel, and a loss of a job.

A shrill alarm rings through the cabin. A bite. The ship has detected some tension on one of the lines. The captain fixes his mask to protect himself from the noxious vapors, and instructs his crew to do the same, before throwing open the upper hatch on his small craft.

Darkness and silence are all that greet him. the alarm stops. The line broke.

The captain mutters a curse and sets about the task of mending his poles. He hears a rustle in the reeds and before he can turn his head to look, the water explodes into white foam.

A wall of razor sharp teeth leaps towards his craft. He feels the legs falter, then break under the weight of the monster, and
the screams of his crew are cut off by the water as he plunges beneath the surface.

A moment of pain, and the world goes dark.

The swamp trekker and its crew have met their end.
