How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

This is my attempt to recreate an arctic landscape, featuring locations from John Carpenter's movie classic; The Thing.

A custom resource pack for this map is also something I may work on as well.

The locations included will be Outpost 31, The UFO crash site and The Norwegian Base camp.

This is not an adventure map, merely a recreation of one of my favourite Sci-Fi Movies of all time.

I have made some minor improvements to the maps structures and have also changed the default gamemode to survival, a secret book can be found inside Outpost 31 relating to the movie, that is if you can find it...

I did originally try, but its so hard to work out the layout of the norwegian outpost, maybe one day i will give it another try :)
