A 1:1 scale recreation of the Three Old Kegs Inn from Baldur's Gate, one of the finer, high-class establishments in the city. Don't be fooled, though - it hides many of the secrets of the elite of the city.

Making Of

Finally, the last unique inn in the city, and probably the simplest in terms of exterior. This allowed me to pay a great deal of attention to finishing the roof with the highest degree of detail that I've done yet. Although it wasn't particularly challenging, I was able to put the most care into it of any I've done so far. The interior was a bit more touch and go - more attacks of the Mary Poppins interior, plus the fact that, unlike the Duchal Palace, I didn't have virtually unlimited room to screw around, so I wasn't able to work in any details like carpets etc.

That said I'm glad it's done - one down, two more to go.

Additional Notes

For best results, load with 1.2.4/1.2.5 Minecraft. Schematic makes use of half-blocks attached to undersides.

Redistributing it as is, without credit, is a no-no, but if anyone wanting to make a Baldur's Gate themed adventure map would be interested in using it, contact me. I would gladly like to aid such a worthy cause.
