The Tower of Oriath,The home of magic and holder of the Power Source.
This is my second Building contest and the first time I worked this hard for a contest.I hope you like my work.

The tower has been built by the first wizards of this world.They have built the in the purpose of making a home for the wizards,as they never fit in the society.But it was built for another purpose as well...
They always thought there is more to this world and it seems they were right.
All the wizards were called by a mystical force.They did not know what it was,but they knew they were destined to follow it.
After Years of search they found the...entity...which was calling them.It was a crystal full of magic.
They didn't understand at the moment,but soon enough they saw the truth...The entity was the source of all magic and they were called to a acknowledge it.
The wizards swore to protect the magic source and make a home for all the wizards.
And the construction began.It took many years to be completed,but in the end,the source was safe and the wizards of the world finally had a home.
In time the wizards began to be accepted in the society,and so Oriath,The floating city has been built,with the Crystal being the very core of power.The city was designed to last forever or as long as it's core maintains it in the Clouds.And it will.It will...

Building process
First I wanted to build a simple wizard tower,but then i realized that's a frequently built thing.Since I really wanted to build this I added a little twist with the teleporters(Command blocks with tp commands)and the Magic crystal from the lore.For the crystal i used the 1.9.0 Ender Crystal and i surrounded it with ender portals to make it look more protected.
So this was my basic idea.I was thinking about these things as I was building the base teleport pad that gets you in the tower.Then i built the upper part of the tower:
-A purple glass at the middle tower section,with some beacons(Purple glass above them)on diamond platforms.
-The crystal surrounded by nether portals.
After this part was done I started building the rooms.It was kind of hard to fit them in the 16x16 chunk,so it is a little cramped in the rooms.Then I started taking coordinates and putting the commands in the command blocks.It was really annoying to go from one room to another by destroying blocks or teleporting from teleporters to get closer.
The last thing was making some adjustments here and there.You may not have some adjustments because i didn't upload the world again after I made some more.Just think that in the parts where there was a lot f quarts you had some purple glass here and there.
So that's it!
