UPDATE : actually thanks to Zomb13 the system now allow to travel at 30 blocks/s!
I'm actually working on this system who allow to travel at 20 blocks/s with piston, and a little glitch called the Glass Travelling.
The last version who is resettable.

- boat hopping 70 blocks/s
- tnt jump 60 blocks/s
- entity stacking 50 blocks/s depend a lot of the numbers of entity (hard to create)

You are fast man! I have also made my own resettable version, you can take a look, and even download the world save.
I'm really curious of the method you have used.
Did you have test your system on a long distance, because with my method, i have issue when the reset signal reach the "unload chunk", it create a "bug" who makes the player stopped at this place when he use the system later.
I have a solution but it will be complex to find the good settings!

got it up there for you to see my methos hope i have explained enough, didnt test against long stretches u could always use my system at the end to push them into another one with a delay so it can update the chunks if it doesnt work
I will try to see if i can combine my design with yours.
