The Wardenclyffe

The Wardenclyffe is a prepulsion research ship, and the seat of the Oconnel clan. Although slow to accelerate it has a pair of semi-operational prototype Steam Vortex engines that can take if from cruise speed into a respectable sprint for short durations, and is equipped with a static discharge weapon capable of disabling and igniting enemy Airships that get too close. The Wardenclyffe will avoid a fight if at all possible because she houses more families than crew and too much research to risk.
