Welcome to the Planet Minecraft page for The Washington DC Project. Here you will find any and all information regarding The Washington DC Project (from here on reffered to as TWDCP). Currently we are half-way through building the Library of Congress, which our first focus of the build.



One of the main prinicples we have incorporated into this build is build functionality. By this we simply mean that these buildings can and will be used as functional pieces of RP/Build/Survival maps. To help better understand this concept think about all of those amazing builds such as the magnificent Vatican build by vincal (http://www.planetminecraft.com/project/st-peter-basilica/) but his building height is hugely unrealistic when put into proportion of the player. This is not a fault in the builder or the game but rather just one of the fun mechanics built into Minecraft that creates a fun and interesting design challenege for our team when building functional complexes.
