I decided to get the huge trees mod for MC 1.1 and see how much wood i could get (that's what she said) out of the tree with a single piece of wood cut out by me w/ the timber mod. In the end, I ended up with all of my inventory filled up + left overs that the timber mod couldn't chop of the tree. Look for yourself and if you don't believe me try it yourself.
