I've been working on this silly thing on off from about MC update 1.6 to 1.9 as a little thing for an adventure map or whatever.

Basic Functions:
-Cooks food (Mutton, Rabbit, Steak, Pork chop, Fish, Potato, Chicken)
-Adds a fireproof effect
-you can throw down a firekit and spawn them everywhere
-adds some rocks and some neet particles

some Cons:
don't put firepits next to each other, it kinda spawns a bunch of redstone underneath and you don't really want to break that.

INSTRUCTIONS:
-there's a command box that needs its co-ords changed to 2 green wools co-ords
-press the button that creates a scoreboard called Firepit/Firekit (can't remember but it's important)
-Throw a firekit Flint and Steel on the ground to summon a firepit
-Throw a blaze rod called firestarter on the bedrock within the buttons to restart the fire. Also using flint and steel will work.
Extra:
-The blue wool area is just the test area, there are 2 chests with fire starters and firekits.
-The fire will put itself out if you leave an area of about 5 blocks from the bedrock, also this will remove the fireproof effect.

You can use this in your map/whatever just give me some credit where credit is due.
